What I Do

I am a Digital Marketing Professional & Social Media Strategist.

I currently work for the Army ROTC. I am the Marketing and Digital Media Specialist for the 2nd “Freedom” Brigade. My area of operation encompasses PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, RI, VM, NH, & ME. I am responsible for the digital footprint, social media strategy, and oversight of 42 ROTC host schools including 250 crosstown ROTC programs.

You can also find me at Arm and Hammer Park working as the Promotions Assistant for the Trenton Thunder (the current home to the Triple-A Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.) I am easy to find around the ballpark- just listen for my voice or look at the videoboard! As the On-Field Host I enjoy providing the best family entertainment in New Jersey and connecting with fans and season ticket holders. I take pride in being @batdogrookie‘s favorite coworker.

My career in baseball started in 2015 with the Oklahoma City Dodgers. The team was starting the 2015 season as the new Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. I applied for a grounds crew position and after working one pre-season high school baseball game I knew a career in baseball was one I had to pursue. I spent the next four years working at the ballpark whenever and wherever I could. During the off seasons I would work as special event staff, go on mascot appearances, help with inventory in the Team Store, or paint the locker rooms so I could get as much experience as I could in every department of the organization.

In 2017 I transitioned to the Game Presentation department, learning how to operate nearly every machine in the press box. I proved myself as a quick learner and someone who is willing to step up and fill any position needed to support the team. I also performed as the mascot and would entertain the crowd during games as a member of the Blue Crew. I am thankful for the opportunities the Dodgers presented me with during my four seasons with the team.

After four rewarding years with the Oklahoma City Dodgers, I decided to take my talents to Las Vegas and attended the 2018 Baseball Winter Meetings. I was eager to expand my horizons and see how another organization ran their baseball operations. I decided to take a seasonal full time position with the Asheville Tourists as their Promotions Manager. This job provided me with the opportunity to move away from home for 7 months, experience a different level of baseball (Asheville was the Low-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies), and still work for the Oklahoma City Dodgers during the winter months.

In Asheville I was responsible for the presentation of the game. I handled pre-game ceremonies, National Anthems, Color Guards, mid-inning promotions, mascot entertainment, and executed theme nights. I wrote the PA script and game rundowns for all 60 home games, hired and trained the promotions staff & mascots, along with organizing all promotional items and giveaways.

In addition to my promotions responsibilities I coordinated player and mascot appearances and hosted a successful kids baseball clinic. I ran the Tourists jersey auctions, served as the Social Media Manager, and worked on the MiLB website. I used my graphic design and editing skills to create social media graphics, video board imagery, flyers for use around the ballpark, and created videos of staff and players for holidays and promotions. I am most proud of initiating Mr. Moon’s Reading Program and was honored to connect with members of the Asheville community as I taught their children how cool is it to READ!

Promotions and Social Media Coordinator

After attending the 2019 Baseball Winter Meetings, I accepted a full time job offer from the Trenton Thunder as their Promotions and Social Media Coordinator. In January of 2020 I made my way to Trenton New Jersey to embark on the next chapter of my baseball career. I was in the position until May of 2020, furloughed with the cancellation of the MiLB season due to the pandemic. In September of 2020 I was contacted by the Army ROTC to fill a digital marketing strategist position. Though I love my job with the Army, I couldn’t stay away from the ballpark. In April of 2021 I returned to the Trenton Thunder as a part time employee heading the promotions department managing the mascots & promotions team along with serving as the on-field host.
